Kitzbuhel ski resort is part of Tyrol region. This mega resort considered one of the most perfect places to ski in Austria.
Like many other mega resorts, Kitzbuhel interlink with Kirchberg ski resort to the west and extends south through Jochberg into the Salzburg state at Hollersbach im Pinzgau.
Kitzbuhel is famous in the winter-sports world for being the place for the Hahnenkamm races, from the first appearance in 1931 and now on the annual Alpine World Cup competitions circuit.
